Cody and his American Flag go to School (with Escorts)
Here is a followup to last week’s story about Cody Alicea being told he could not fly his flag on his bike at Denair Middle School near Turlock, California because it would inflame the Hispanic students. The Superintendent changed his mind and decided to allow the flag (after a deluge of letters and emails and phone calls from Patriots everywhere) and Monday Cody went to school.
Young Cody Alicea had an “escort” to school today. Last week, school officials told him he couldn’t display the American Flag from his bicycle at school and America came down on that school like stink on ..it. School officials changed their mind, but that didn’t stop some of Cody’s friends from providing him an escort.
Hundreds of American Legion Riders and fellow patriots: drove Cody Alicea to Denair Middle School and, as in you can plainly see, every one of the riders “broke the rule.
I’m waiting to see who steps up and tells this group “No American Flag on your bike”.
A veteran brings Cody to tears when he gives him his Purple Heart hat during a rally outside Cody’s school. (KCRA)
