Video: A Homeless Man Without A Shirt Was Shivering On The Train, Then A Passenger Did This

A lot of people claim that they would give you the shirt off of their back, but one man put his money where his mouth is. He clothed a homeless bus passenger[1] to keep him warm in the near-freezing temperatures.

A passenger on the New York subway gave his shirt and hat to a shivering homeless man in footage that has since gone viral.

In a clip filmed by Lazaro Nolasco, a passenger on a Brooklyn-bound A train approaches a shirtless man and helps him to put on his own t-shirt. The passenger – identified only as ‘Jay’ – then walks off and comes back with a black hat, which he puts over the homeless man’s head.

The video was posted to Facebook on Friday and has picked up more than 8million views since it was uploaded.

‘It was just us on the train,’ Nolasco, 21, told the New York Daily News[4].

‘The guy didn’t have a shirt on. His body looked sick.’

Nolasco said night-time temperatures in Manhattan near freezing this time of year.

‘The guy did a good deed, so I wanted to record it,’ he said.
