The location of the detainees has absolutely no bearing on the safety of American citizens.

Actually it has quite a lot of bearing, but since when have silly things like “facts” and “logic” ever mattered to a liberal?

Attacking American citizens or holding them for hostage could happen anywhere domestically or otherwise to attempt to obtain their release.

So you’re saying Obama’s plan to move these terrorists to American soil was completely pointless. Gotcha.

Another completely useless and dangerous move by obama in his never ending quest to be the exact opposite of Bush at any cost no matter what. The ends justify the means for this clown…even if the ends are useless and self serving at best.

Obama said he would close Gitmo and that is what he is doing. Just because the alternative to Gitmo is worse isn’t going to stop this administration from doing it. Just like everything else they are trying to do, what is best for America is not a consideration. The donks are just playing politics.
