Muslim Massacre at Fort Hood Downgraded to “Workplace Violence”
Written By : Dave Blount

Remarkably, it has taken the politically correct bureauweenies atop the Army less than a year to respond to the terrorist massacre at Fort Hood. Here‘s how the top brass will make sure there are no more Islamic terror attacks by Muslim infiltrators within the military:

More than nine months after the Fort Hood, Texas, massacre, Defense Secretary Robert Gates has ordered a series of changes meant to prevent such incidents.

In a 26-page memo released [Friday] and signed Aug. 18, Gates ordered a series of procedural and policy changes that focus on identifying, responding to and preventing potential workplace violence.

On Nov. 5, 2009, Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, an American-born Muslim of Palestinian descent, allegedly shot and killed 13 people [actually 14, but libs don't count unborn babies] and wounded dozens more at the Texas base. …

The changes include plans to educate military commanders on signs of potential workplace violence, increase commanders’ access to personnel records and improve emergency notifications and the 911 system.

Apparently scrutinizing Muslims with radical associations who wave large red banners in advance of their killing sprees was not found to be necessary. Army bases like Fort Hood will no doubt remain gun-free zones, ensuring that our troops are helpless sitting ducks for the next Major Hasan.

The important thing is to twist ourselves into whatever demented contortions might be necessary so as to pretend that Hasan was just a disgruntled worker who happened to go postal, and his scream of “Allahu Akbar” as the bloodshed began was only an irrelevant slip of the tongue.

Apparently he was actually shouting “Ollie Ackber” the name of the armies head of human resources. He wanted to lodge a formal complaint about being issue a defective firearm that and a faulty safety. Some people overreacted, it accidentally discharged many times (and reloaded itself) and the rest is history.

    Just a huge misunderstanding.

Too bad the most easy and obvious step to take – if you see a radical muslim acting radically, work to keep him out of positions of authority and even discharge him, and for the love of god don't promote him – seems to have eluded them.

    • Mr. EMT

No such thing as radical muslims.
Didn't you get the memo from obamao?
Remember, they do not consider the Bin Laden Victory Mosque at Ground Zero to be a radical act pushed by Imam Rauf who is also not a radical muslim either.

I suppose it's a good thing that Mr. Gates has already announced his retirement. It's now pretty clear that his leadership is seriously flawed. If he can't distinguish, whether for reasons of ignorance or for reasons of politics, the bloody obvious reality of any situation, especially one which fairly dripped with signs pointing toward terrorism, I'm thinking it's not a great plan for him to head up a multi-billion dollar enterprise charged with protecting us all.

I wonder if he'll sing a different tune once he's out and the current administration can't force him to tow the line.

  • Mr. EMT

Waiting for when the obamao admin refers to 9/11 as a motor vehicle collision.

    • UFKA_Smithwick

Maybe he'll compromise and call it a “really really bad” motor vehicle collision.

Maybe he'll compromise and call it a “really really bad” motor vehicle collision.

A “really, really, really bad fatal” motor vehicle collision.

        • UFKA_Smithwick

          Perhaps even . . . regrettable?

  • CoolCzech

    “Workplace violence,” huh?

Gee, I bet this will have the Sinister Side of the Political Spectrum giggling at night.

  • The Karma Hoser

Hey, he's a muslim, and that alone made him a diversity quota in his Federal Government workplace, so therefore, the whole thing's ALL the victims' fault, just ask any muslim-kissing liberal!! As to keeping Federal Installations gun-free just like many college campuses, that turns them into a shooting free-for-all for anyone wanting to do mass murder via firearm!!

  • Dave

Irony! Isn't workplace violence what the Army is all about?

“…increase commanders' access to personnel records and improve emergency notifications and the 911 system.”

Oh, well thank God that the army can now dial 911 as they're being mowed down with gunfire…

Ask the people who were dining at the Luby's in Killeen, TX, October, 1991 how well that works out. When someone is hunting you, dialing 911 just means you'll have a city employee to have a conversation with as you are murdered.

    The terrorists have already won.

Instead of fighting the cause of the violence, Western nations are succumbing to it all. As political correctness becomes the norm, and even law, and ignoring the blatantly obvious comes with it, more and more people will die, and eventually the majority will just shrug their shoulders and hand the keys over to the dictatorial madmen.

There is plenty we could do to stop it, but more concerned with “civil rights” than survival, the West is in a death spiral. This doesn't mean we should stop fighting, death is preferable to slavery, but it does mean that we are likely fighting a losing battle, with no hope for survival. The only path to protecting ourselves may very well be one of the least palatable options we could ever consider.

Rescinding rights from a select few in order to protect us all.

This road has its own risks, and could only be done by a very strong willed group of people. But temporary enslavement is better than the genocide of our way of life.

    • UFKA_Smithwick

Enslavement would mean the end of our way of life.

I have no desire to take on a western despot to avoid an eastern one.

      They are both despots.

We can win this without becoming like them.

      • http://www.facebook.com/jayhoffer Justin Hoffer

I hope you are absolutely certain of that, because Europe has been attempting that, and losing.

        • UFKA_Smithwick

No they've tried appeasement which is a much different thing.

They got in to trouble by A) inviting millions of muslims in. B) leaving them in large isolated communities supported for generations by government largesse rather than being forced to find jobs in the west and integrate and C) being allowed to get away with all sorts of horrific acts in the name of “religious tolerance”.

I would advise curtailing immigration in general and limiting it to only those with valuable skills and a mindset that is compatible with ours (that would hinder most middle-eastern immigrants). Radicals with ties to terrorism would be completely banned. Of course I do not favor allowing people to live for generations on welfare, and I would force them to get jobs and integrate in to the overall society (or at least get jobs). Permanent unemployment gives them too much free time and makes them bitter and resentful. Angry muslim kids with nothing better to do are going to be drawn to radicalism.

And naturally I'd hold them to the same legal standards as the rest of us. So when they riot or kill their women or attempt to institute religious laws and form their own communities where they alone have jurisidiction I'd say send in the cops to bust some skulls, rather than tolerating it on the basis of being terrified of being labeled a racist.

Europe has taken a different path than the US on immigration in general and Muslims in particular. We absolutely should not copy their methods. But we likewise shouldn't copy those of totalitarian regimes.

As always the US should make it's own path and succeed where others failed miserably.
