Teen Told He Would NEVER Stand Again – He Made Sure When He Did It Was For The National Anthem…

Colin Kaepernick has started an evil, racist, cop-hating, America-bashing trend across our nation. Not only is he kneeling for our National Anthem now in support of Black Lives Matter, he is actively going to schools and getting entire teams to do the same. Many sports figures in the NFL and other sports are kneeling as well. It has spread to grade schools and high schools and is undermining and disgracing America in more ways than one. But one teen, who has suffered far more than those who pretend to be slighted racially, is taking a stand… literally.

Wesley Baker was a high school football player three years ago. He was walking on the side of the road when he was hit by an 18-wheeler. Somehow he survived. He lost his leg and has massive brain trauma, but for three years he has worked to come back from what experts deemed a vegetative state. I don’t know if he can speak yet, but he sure as heck stood for the National Anthem at a football game for his old high school. His parents are so very proud.

While football players all across America — from Pop Warner up through to the NFL — are kneeling in protest of the national anthem, South Carolina teen Wesley Baker stood up for America.

Doctors were sure he would never stand again — possibly relegated to a permanent vegetative state.

In 2013, the high school football player was walking along the highway when he was hit by an 18-wheeler. Though he survived, miraculously, Baker lost a leg and sustained heavy brain trauma, among other injuries.

But after three years of medical attention, therapy, and peerless persistence, 19-year-old Wesley Baker stood for Old Glory and the Star-Spangled Banner during Friday night’s football game at his former Conway High School.

This certainly shames the likes of Colin Kaepernick and his Black Lives Matter cronies. Only they don’t have enough sense or character to be ashamed. Wesley is now 19 and not only has he survived, he is fighting to speak again. In the midst of the fight of his life, he loves and honors his country. He’s a hero in my book – certainly in comparison to some spoiled millionaire sports figure, who only cares about himself and tearing America apart over race and hatred.

They never thought this kid would walk again. In fact, they basically thought he was so impaired, he was vegetative. Wesley is proving all of them wrong. He’s a fighter and a real American in every sense of the word. Thank you Wesley for continuing to fight and reminding Americans what a real hero and patriot looks like.
