Democrats Now Calling On Obama To PARDON Illegal Immigrants Before He Leaves [VIDEO]

The Democrats are really on a tear to get Obama to pardon illegal immigrants who came here as children before Trump takes office. They claim that it wasn’t meant to give them legal status, but that is exactly what it does.

What worries me, is that yesterday, Donald Trump started to soften towards these illegal alien children. The Washington Times writes today that Donald Trump’s promise to “work something out” for immigrants brought here illegally as kids is dividing fellow Republicans, underscoring how difficult it will be for Congress to take any action on immigration, whether it’s building a wall or dealing with immigrant youths.

But here is what really confuses me… while Trump talks soft on these kids, he has appointed three military legends to his cabinet that are sure to put a stop to all this. So, is this Trump throwing the Left off balance until he can take action, or is he serious? I can’t tell, but I do know there is an excellent chance that Obama will indeed pardon Dreamers before he leaves office. Nancy Pelosi is screaming for it and it would not surprise me in the least.

Democrats are calling on President Obama to pardon illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children in order to protect them from deportation under President-elect Donald Trump.

Democrats penned a second letter in a month with 60 signatures asking Obama to take action immediately, the Hill reported.

Lawmakers say their last letter was misinterpreted as giving legal status to participants of the Deferred Action for Childhood Actions program (DACA), which gives two-year work permits and deferred deportation action.

Lawmakers insist, however, that giving these program participants legal status is not the purpose of the pardon.

“We clearly understand such a pardon will not grant legal status and that is not the intent of our request,” said Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-Calif.). “We are simply asking the president to protect the nearly 750,000 DACA recipients who are living in fear of immediate deportation because they trusted our government.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi joined party calls for Obama to take action, and expressed her concern about a Trump administration handling DACA recipients’ information because of what she calls “hateful statements against immigrants” being made during Trump’s campaign.

“Today, thousands of young Dreamers are stuck in a terrible limbo, left to dread the possibility of President Trump deporting them from the only home they have ever known,” Pelosi said. “President Obama should use every possible measure to protect our Dreamers and their data,” she said. President-elect Trump has promised to repeal all of Obama’s executive orders, including the one that established DACA. I hope and pray that he keeps that promise or there is going to be real trouble.

The illegal alien children who signed up for DACA have given ample data to the government and would most likely be the first deported with their families because of it. Unintended consequences and all that. Right now, Obama is on a roll on commuting the sentences of more than a thousand criminals that are behind bars. That will bring crime and chaos to our streets. If Obama pardons millions of illegal aliens… then it is going to be much, much worse. All of America is now waiting to see what President-elect Trump will do.
