Once again[1], Obama manages to make history all about himself. He didn’t even bother to show up for the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor this year. Instead, he posted a picture of himself commemorating Pearl Harbor four years ago on Twitter. What an insult to all those warriors that fought and died on that bloody day at the hands of the Japanese. 2,400 Americans perished that day and we found ourselves up to our chins in World War II. A war we didn’t start, but we certainly finished and won. But not without a horrific cost not only to America, but Japan and the world. And this is how our current President honors that day… with a pic of himself.
Obama is planning to visit the actual site and pay his respects later this month in a historic visit accompanied by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The media has been speculating whether Abe will apologize or not for Japan’s actions in World War II. Abe does not owe us an apology. That was a different government and a different time in Japan. An apology would mean nothing. Japan has already apologized over and over… they surrendered to us after many Japanese were killed, especially when we dropped two nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing at least 129,000 people. It ended the war, but at a high cost. My father hated the Japanese until the day he died… there were atrocities that you just don’t hear of, but that was not Abe’s doing. And for Obama to take a grand standing photo op with the man is abhorrent and yet another insult to the military and America.

From the Conservative Tribune:
Dec. 7, that now infamous day, marked the 75th anniversary[3] of the lethal surprise attack on the U.S. naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, by the Imperial Japanese navy, an event that brought a reluctant America into World War II.
President Barack Obama was not in Hawaii for the memorial celebration, but released a statement to commemorate the moment, according to CNN[4] — along with, as usual for such moments — a picture of himself.
He noted that more than 2,400 American men, women and children had perished as a direct result of that terrible attack, but pointed out how their patriotic sacrifice had prompted millions more American men and women to answer the call and defend our liberty and freedom in a variety of ways.
Instead of taking part in the traditional wreath-laying ceremony at the Pearl Harbor memorial, Obama instead posted a picture to Twitter from a prior visit to the commemorative site, taken four years ago, featuring himself laying a wreath at the memorial.

Abe’s visit is in return for Obama’s visit earlier in the year to Hiroshima, Japan, where he marked the 71st Anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb that brought an end to the bloody war that had raged for nearly four brutal years in the Pacific theater. It was an apology tour and was just disgraceful. And here we go again.
Obama Tweeting a picture of himself is monstrously self-centered and arrogant. He has never put the military first, so why start now? He didn’t even care enough to show up for the anniversary… I’m sure he was on a golf course somewhere. Somehow, he just couldn’t be bothered to care. There are very few veterans left from World War II. A president of any worth at all would have greeted those who came to remember that day and what was won and what was loss. President Trump has already done more to honor the military than Obama has done in eight years. At least the Obama nightmare is about to end.
