Obama Seeks To Take Over Local Police Departments – With This SICK Move…

Obama has been making moves[1] to further nationalize our local police departments for some time now. He just stepped up his game with the Police Data Initiative. The plan ties police departments into new technology that is overseen and used by the federal government. They use a series of massive databases to monitor people. It truly is big brother come to life. All officers that are in this program are held extremely accountable to those higher up. They are watched and monitored themselves. This iron control of our police departments is spreading throughout the US. It started out with 21 police departments and is now at 53. Following this post is a list of cities involved… note that the majority are Progressively controlled.

Obama[2]

From the Conservative Tribune:

Those in power crave more power — which is the reason why the federal government has grown to the unbelievably bloated size it is today. The Police Data Initiative, a plan by President Barack Obama to make law enforcement more technology-driven and accountable to higher-ups, will only continue to expand the power and overreach of our federal government.

Most critics of this initiative don’t like the thought of our local police departments handing over some of their responsibilities to federal jurisdiction.

When this was first proposed last May, only 21 police departments were partners. However, it’s grown since. Now, the number of participating departments has jumped to 53, according to WND[3]. So, at the rate police departments have been jumping onboard this eerie program, your local station could very well be next — if it hasn’t already.

A press release from the White House last year stated: “Through the initiative, key stakeholders are establishing a community of practice that will allow for knowledge sharing, community-sourced problem solving and the establishment of documented best practices that can serve as examples for police departments nationwide.” Technology is being used against each and every one of us… huge databases record monumental amounts of data about people and that information is shared among these agencies… to prevent discrimination and so-called hate. That’s what is claimed. In reality, it is used as a weapon of control and censorship. Especially against police officers. This was all brought forth by the Black Lives Matter movement and those that support them. I don’t even think these types of databases are constitutional, much less ethical. They sure as heck will be expensive. Critics say it’s little more than a federalization of local police because it puts the White House at the helm of deciding such matters as cameras on cop uniforms and whether or not local jurisdictions accept equipment from the military. As the New American put it back in March of 2015: “The plan … will use U.S. taxpayer dollars to deploy ‘experts’ and ‘researchers’ charged with training officers to act in a manner that the [Department of Justice] deems just – in essence doing the bidding of the Obama administration. Officially, the Justice Department will be helping local officials ‘fight crime’ under the scheme.” And as the Blaze reported in August of 2015: “President Barack Obama’s administration has begun the second phase in federalizing the police.” This is one of the crown jewels of Obama’s legacy… to undermine and control the police… to force them into a nationalized police force that answers to the White House was the agenda all along.
