Liberals have been complaining about how the election was stolen due to “fake news” that spread like wildfire on social media. Even our sitting president, Barack Obama, has taken it upon himself to whine about fake news. The interesting thing, though, is that Obama made sure to complain about fake news… to a magazine that routinely publishes fake news!
Obama was recently featured in Rolling Stone magazine, where he appeared on the cover. You may remember that Rolling Stone just lost a massive multi-million dollar lawsuit concerning the fake gang-rape story they printed targeting the University of Virginia. The reporter interviewed a student who claimed that she was not only gang-raped by a group of fraternity brothers at a party, but that she contacted the dean of students at the university and the dean covered the rape up.
Of course, none of this turned out to be true. The reporter did not check any sources or verify any facts, yet Rolling Stone ran the story anyway. It was a huge disaster, all because Rolling Stone ran a blatantly made up story… and Obama is crying to them about fake news?
As if that wasn’t enough, Obama had to complain about how the little people in Flyover Country only watch Fox News. If Obama had his way, everyone would be watching CNN, or MSNBC, or NBC… as if those networks have ever gotten caught airing fake news stories. Remember the faked story about how George W. Bush went AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard? That didn’t air on Fox News, but hey, let’s smear them anyway because they report opinions that Obama doesn’t agree with.
Liberals just don’t get it. They still don’t understand why they’ve lost and if they don’t stop blaming everyone else for their so-called ignorance, then they’re just going to keep alienating the people that they need in order to win.
