Let’s see what “progress” Obama has made in the case of race-relations…

Oscar Grant Riots: In 2009, officer Johannes Mehserle shot Oscar Grant in the back as he lay handcuffed on the ground. Mehserle was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and rightly so…the video footage was disgusting. But here’s the kicker – shortly after the sentencing, rioters took to the streets and began to riot, smashing windows, trashing police cars, torching private businesses. The situation was so bad, Grant’s mother spoke out saying, “I am begging the citizens not to use violent tactics, not to be angry. I know it’s a very frustrating time, but Oscar would not want to see all the violence that’s going on. He would not want to see the fires, he would not want to see this. You’re hurting people who have nothing to do with the situation.”

Trayvon Martin Riots: After George Zimmerman was acquitted of murder in his shooting of black teenager Trayvon Martin, the riot revolutionary wanna-be’s reared their ugly heads again, “stomping cars and breaking windows.” A cameraman working the live story was attacked. There were accounts of both white and Hispanic males attacked throughout the country, with assailants shouting, “this is for Trayvon!” President Obama also stated during the ongoing investigation, “My main message is to the parents of Trayvon Martin. You know, if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.” Typical. Taking sides without the facts of the case. A further push towards division.

Manuel Diaz Riot: After 25 year-old suspected gang member Manuel Diaz fled from police and was shot to death during the ensuing struggle, local residents began throwing objects at police officers. One news source reported: “At least five people were reported hurt in the unrest, with crowds setting fires, smashing windows and throwing rocks and other projectiles at officers in riot gear who fired non-lethal rounds at demonstrators refusing to disperse.”

Michael Brown Riot: The incident that spawned the racist group, Black Lives Matter. 18 year-old Michael Brown was shot 6 times and killed by Officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri….Though Obama sent Holder to find evidence proving that Officer Darren Wilson had unjustly killed Brown, evidence pointed to the opposite. Brown had just recently committed strong arm robbery at a local convenience store. He had charged at and punched officer Wilson. He had attempted to take his gun. All this and more was found to be true, but that didn’t stop rioters from doing what they do best…destroy other people’s property.

Freddie Gray Riot: Freddie Gray, a black 25 year-old was arrested by police, transported in a police van and sustained injuries to his neck and spinal cord and was soon taken to a trauma center after he fell into a coma. The results of this was yet another riot, pelting police with rocks and destroying police cruisers in the process.

All of these events have been under Obama’s watch and for most of them, he has commented on his thoughts and beliefs even before the investigations were complete. He hasn’t help cool the tension of race in this country….

He’s set us back decades…
