Remember when President Donald Trump’s Education Secretary Betsy DeVos was blocked by psycho, progressive protesters from entering a Washington D.C. middle school? Do you remember the guy that was screaming right at her, ‘Shame! Shame! Shame!’, as if he was in an episode of Game of Thrones?
Well, that was a close call because things were starting to look dangerous for DeVos – the Education Secretary.
I mean, come on. If protesters are going to be pissed about an education secretary appointment, you know they are looking for ANY excuse to push their extremism over the edge – and feel justified doing it.
After that ordeal, a reassessment of her safety situation has caused her security to up its presence for additional protection. This of course cost more money…Approximately $7.8 million tax dollars in all.
Due to the steadfast calls of death threats by the leftist crazies, the U.S. Marshals service was constrained to reevaluate everything that they had done in the past for other secretaries.
The U.S. Marshall service has now disclosed that the Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos has been the target of many more death threats than any other secretary in her place.
Past education secretaries were able to slide by with far less public notice and were usually protected without the vast expenditure of taxpayer money, using some Secret Service agents to complete the job. But due to the intense level of threats, DeVos’ security is now in the capable hands of the U.S. Marshall service.
Trump’s education chief is looking to completely stop the D.C. mentality of education and start bringing it closer to home, where it should be. She is also not a very big fan of the notorious Teachers Union…and I can guarantee that the feeling is quite mutual.
Here’s to DeVos and her safety. We need to take control back from D.C..
