Chelsea Clinton Tweets About ‘Moms In Prison’ — Gets Mocked On Twitter Hilariously

Last year’s presidential election was an intensely passionate divisive national event. Americans of every stripe were adamant about their preferred candidate. And many Americans were hoping one of the candidates would end up in stripes, prison stripes that is. ‘Hillary for Prison 2016’ signs and stickers graced many front yards and car bumpers. But alas, Mrs. Clinton’s misdeeds did not land her in prison, though many thought she deserved it.

Which makes Chelsea Clinton’s recent tweet all the more awkward. See tweet below.

No doubt Chelsea has no idea the vitriol and resentment a great many Americans bear toward her mother, for her years and years of alleged lawless deeds and never being held to account for them. But Twitter let her know in a hurry that the irony of a Clinton tweeting about moms in prison, was just too good an opportunity to ignore.

The program Chelsea referred to in her tweet is the Girl Scouts of America’s “Girl Scouts Beyond Bars.” It enables young girls in the program to visit their incarcerated mothers, in a room that is more like a classroom instead of a typical prison visitation room. And no doubt the program is a good one that is filling a need. It has probably helped many young ladies to continue a relationship with their mother while she serves her sentence. And certainly no one faults Chelsea for supporting such a program.

But of course any reference by Hillary’s daughter to moms in prison is going to bring a big response from Americans who are tired of seeing Democrats get away with things that other Americans would never be able to do without repercussions.

So, to the GSA, good job on this program. It’s a benefit to young girls. But to Chelsea Clinton? There is talk of the DOJ opening investigations into Hillary’s list of questionable activities. And if there is any justice, it may be only a matter of time until you, Chelsea, have to visit your mom in prison.
