X-Men MEGA Star REVEALS Something That Has Christians APPLAUDING – And Media Ignoring…

It’s not popular to be a conservative in Hollywood and it’s even less popular to be a Christian, but one famous actor is speaking out on his faith.

From Conservative Tribune:

Finding a celebrity in Hollywood who considers themselves a Christian has been rare, and the ones who do stand up for their faith have often been criticized by the media and their liberal colleagues.

One well-known actor talked about his Christian faith in an interview last year, but it’s unsurprising to few that we didn’t hear about it in the mainstream media.

Hugh Jackman’s father, Christopher, gave his life to Jesus Christ at a Billy Graham crusade, and now the younger Jackman has announced that he, too, follows the Christian faith.

In an interview with MovieGuide, a Christian family media company, Jackman explained how his faith impacted his acting career.

“I used to go to different evangelists’ (revival) tents all the time,” he said. “When I was about 13, I had a weird premonition that I was going to be onstage, like the preachers I saw.”

One look at the Wolverine star’s life, and it’s apparent how much Christianity has played a role. Jackman has a stellar reputation for being a devoted father to his children and a committed husband to his wife of nearly 20 years, something that is considered quite the accomplishment in a community where being married for more than a few years is relatively rare.

“When I met Deb, I knew immediately I was going to marry her,” he said in the interview. “I forced myself to wait six months because I thought, ‘Maybe it is infatuation. I’m too young to know.’”

“It was ridiculous,” he continued. “Every day love just got deeper. I felt a complete trust with her to be exactly who I am. I don’t have to be any other version of Hugh Jackman for her to love me.”

The Australian actor has also given credit to his Christian upbringing as the reason for being active in various philanthropic endeavors, such as work to fight extreme poverty across the world.

Jackman also said he considers his acting as a way to honor God.

“In “Chariots of Fire” the runner Eric Liddell says, ‘When I run, I feel His pleasure,’” he said. “I feel that pleasure when I act and it’s going well, particularly onstage.”

“Before I go onstage every night, I pause and dedicate the performance to God, in the sense of ‘Allow me to surrender.’”

This is amazing!
