The Left Vs. The Tea Party: Who’s Responsible When There’s A Shooting?

If you call the Family Research Center a hate group, you’re calling Christianity a hate group, because what they do is tout Christian values

I’m not going to do the same thing that liberals do after every shooting and accuse them of being responsible for the kook who walked into the Family Research Center yesterday and started firing. That’s not to say: they’re necessarily blameless either[2]…

The man who allegedly shot a security officer at the D.C. headquarters of the Family Research Council expressed opposition to the group’s positions on gay marriage and had a Chick-Fil-A bag on him when he entered the building, according to multiple media reports.

As of late Wednesday afternoon, officials with the FBI, the Metropolitan Police Department and the Family Research Council would not confirm the reports that the suspect expressed his displeasure with the FRC’s opposition to gay marriage. Law enforcement officials said the matter was still under investigation and it was too early to speak to the individual’s motivation.

So, if this nut tried to murder people at the FRC because he buys into the far Left’s claims that Chick-fil-A and the Family Research Center are hate groups just for standing up for the same values that Christians have since Christ walked the earth, how much responsibility do liberals have for this shooting? If you say none, because they didn’t advocate violence against the FRC, then stop claiming that Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and the Tea Party are responsible every time some nut who usually has nothing to do with them at all goes on a killing spree.
