A sorority girl[1], Emile Weaver, had a baby back on April 22nd, 2015. She then promptly put the baby in a plastic bag and threw her out in the garbage outside the Delta Gamma Theta house and left her to die. She attended Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio. She was found guilty of aggravated murder and faces life in prison without the possibility of parole. Looking for sympathy here… nope, fresh out. She was also found guilty of abuse of a corpse and two counts of tampering with evidence. She told investigators she thought the baby was dead, but the coroner found that the newborn died from asphyxiation. She was suffocated. What a monster.

College Dead Newborn[2]

From the Daily Mail:

A former sorority girl was found guilty of aggravated murder on Friday after she put her newborn daughter in plastic bag and threw her out in a trash can, where the baby died from asphyxiation.

Emile Weaver, a former student at Muskingum University in New Corcord, Ohio, was also found guilty of abuse of a corpse and two counts of tampering with evidence.

Weaver has not been sentenced, but she could face life in prison without parole.

Weaver said she had been living in denial and was not aware she was pregnant despite her sorority sisters noticing she had gained weight, wore baggier clothing, and often held a pillow in front of her stomach months before the birth on April 22, 2015.

She told investigators she gave birth on the toilet, left the bathroom to get a knife to cut the umbilical cord, and returned thinking the baby had died because it showed no signs of movement.

But coroners ruled the baby was alive when it was placed in the bag.

Weaver texted the man she thought was the father a few hours after the birth and said it had been ‘taken care of’ and that there was ‘no more baby’.

Days later, she went to a hospital in West Virginia with her mom saying she had a miscarriage, even though medical tests showed she had carried the baby to full term.

Weaver then texted the man she thought was the father, saying the situation had been ‘taken care of’ and that there was ‘no more baby’. Days later, she told her roommate and mom she had a miscarriage, even though medical tests at the hospital showed she carried the baby to full term. Weaver told the court she did not know with certainty she was pregnant and lived in denial after shooting down rumors among sorority sisters. She says she gave birth on the freaking toilet. She had no intention of letting that baby live. It was cold and calculated and I hope she gets life for what she did. You don’t come back from something like that. Weaver showed no signs of emotion or remorse as she was convicted. Muskingum County Prosecutor Michael Haddox argued that Weaver knew she was pregnant. He said: ‘I don’t want you to lie to me because I think you knew you were pregnant. I don’t believe you went to the bathroom and had this baby and it was a complete surprise.’ Weaver previously pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, but a judge ruled that she was mentally competent to stand trial. No one is that delusional. The girl was fully cognizant of what she was doing as her call to the father indicated. This time, justice will be served.
