A Dallas police officer was forced to shoot a man who charged him at Dallas Love Field today. This happened just outside of baggage claim. Evidently, there was a domestic dispute between a woman and the father of her children. The man was throwing rocks at her car. The officer approached him and he charged. So the officer obliged the moron and shot him. I don’t think he killed him, but he did yell at him to stay down. Bryan Armstrong @flashyfilms was just outside the terminal when the gunshots rang out. He posted video online which shows an officer drawing his gun and the sounds of multiple shots fired. Then the woman involved started screaming. Another officer had her go inside.

From Fox26:

A Dallas police officer shot a suspect following a domestic disturbance outside the baggage claim area at Dallas Love Field on Friday.

Assistant Chief Randy Blankenbaker with the Dallas Police Department said it started with an argument between a woman and the father of her children before noon.

The suspect was throwing rocks at the woman’s car. An officer was alerted to the disturbance, came to her aid and was rushed by the suspect. The officer fired multiple shots, hitting the suspect, Blankenbaker said.

The unidentified male suspect was taken to a local hospital. Blankenbaker did not know his condition, but said he appeared to be conscious when he left in an ambulance. The Dallas Police Association reported the officer who was involved is in “ok condition.” The woman involved in the domestic disturbance also was not hurt. Police said the black male suspect was holding a large rock and dared police to shoot him before an officer opened fire. The windows on the woman’s car were shattered. The guy is lucky he isn’t dead, because he certainly asked for it. The officer did the right thing… he did his job. Hopefully this moron will go away for a long, long time.
