Judge Sets Muslim Teen Free After He Assaults Eight Women Because He’s Not Used To Girls In Bikinis

A teenager who went around fondling eight young women in the water at Surfers Paradise beach in Victoria has essentially fended off conviction[1].

The boy, who is believed to be of Middle Eastern decent and whose actual age is unknown due to the boy having no public records of any sort, pleaded guilty to nine counts of sexual assault and three counts of common assault at a Children’s Court hearing in Queensland, Australia.

He basically got a slap on the wrist and is only going to serve on a two-year probation order for what Judge David Kent delineated as “serious” offences.

The court listened as the arguments were made, as well as testimonies confirming that eight victims, aged between 15 and 24, were the targets of groping by this unidentified individual.

Prosecutor Nicholas McGhee related to the court what the attack by the boy entailed. McGhee spoke and said that he would touch his victims’ buttocks, genitalia and breasts, sometimes reach under their bikinis.

Mr. McGhee said a complaint was made to a local lifeguard and many of the women revealed that the boy in the water who was swimming behind other complainants in “quite a predatory manner” was responsible for the sexual assaults.

Mr. McGhee went on to explain:

“People should enjoy the right to enjoy the right to have fun at the beach without being sexually assaulted or assaulted by a stranger.”

Judge Kent even punished the boy with mandatory classes called “positive sexuality” as part of his probation and said while he is living in a totally different culture than in his homeland, it didn’t absolve him of his responsibility to keep his hands to himself.

“This is obviously unacceptable behavior but it is also criminal behavior. Your behavior had significant impact on at least two of the complainants. The impacts on them have been considerable.”

In John Hawkins’ new book ‘101 Things All Young Adults Should Know’, he teaches in number 85, “You are not a victim.” This was true for these girls and women who were assaulted. They got help and it’s that help that got this kid in trouble…and that’s a good thing.
