Rebel Flag is Now Gone from Stores, But Nazi, Soviet Paraphernalia Remain

Evidently America is cool[1] with censoring her own history, but wants to hang on to the likes of Nazi Germany and bloody communist regimes. Satanism is still in vogue it would seem as well… but if you are a lover of the Confederate flag, well, you should be summarily burned at the stake. Let’s not leave out Stalin or concentration camps as making the ‘cool’ list either. And it goes without saying that Che Guevara is tres chic. Prohibition of thought and our history is all the rage now. No doubt next on the censorship bandwagon… burning books and thought police. Oh, wait…

Confederate Flag[2]

From NewsBusters:

While the left and its media water carriers celebrate the purging of the Confederate battle flag from the public and private spheres, they’re hyping the decision of retailers to pull Confederate-themed merchandise. But maybe they should take a look at what other ideology-related swag these stores and websites are selling.

Following the South Carolina church shooting, stores including Amazon, Walmart and eBay stopped selling Confederate flag merchandise. Media from USA Today[3] to ABC[4] covered the move as well as the three broadcast networks, with CBS’ Adriana Diaz recognizing the “pressure” that is “mounting in the business community” on June 24.

In defense of the decision, Walmart spokesperson Brian Nick explained[5] his company’s reasoning. “We never want to offend anyone with the products that we offer. We have taken steps to remove all items promoting the Confederate flag from our assortment – whether in our stores or on our web site,” he told CNN.

But the stores aren’t afraid of offending everyone.

Amazon sells Swastika covers[6] for Playstation 4, books[7] denying the Holocaust and swastika-decorated knives[8] and pendants[9].

For Soviet Union fanatics, Amazon advertises hammer and sickle pins[10], aprons[11] and baby bodysuits[12].

Amazon has something for everyone, offering Satanic goat head pendants[13] and “Hail Satan” wristbands[14].

Joining Amazon, Walmart sells airplane models[15], complete with swastikas, and Soviet heavy tank kits[16].

The chain giant also sells Soviet posters – from Soviet beverage ads[17] to Soviet Boy Scout ads[18] “calling all schoolchildren.”

In addition, Walmart boasts a host of Che Guevara paraphernalia, the mass-murdering communist thug who happened to look good in a beret. Walmart sells a Guevara movie poster[19], an “urban watercolor” canvas[20] and a print[21] citing Guevara: “the true revolutionary is guided by feelings of love.”

EBay offered concentration camp cash[22], a good luck swastika pin[23], a Soviet Union hammer sickle flag[24], Lenin[25] and Stalin[26] busts.

The flaming lynch mob mentality of Progressives is burning through businesses across the former land of the free. They are feeling immense pressure to conform and be politically correct. None of them seem to have a spine. This is insane. Not only are they banning all Confederate flags and calling for Civil War statues to be taken down (which is erasing American history), they are getting rid of General Lee[27], an orange Dodge Charger from “The Dukes of Hazzard.” Walmart and Amazon have stopped selling anything having to do with the Confederate flag, but Walmart is still selling Che Guevara shirts, as well as Castro memorabilia and Iranian flags[28]. Apple just removed Civil War Games from their App Store[29]. South Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama and Kentucky are all removing Confederate flags as well. It’s an all you can eat buffet of political correctness feeding a lynch mob of Progressives. Now… they want to ban Gone With The Wind[30]. We have literally plummeted down the rabbit hole and are sipping tea with the Mad Hatter. The Constitution is now being replaced with censorship and regulation – it’s surreal.
