Bowe Bergdahl’s Fellow Soldiers Think He Deserves the Death Penalty

As the US government is still deciding whether to prosecute deserter Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, some of his fellow solders are speaking out and they are saying he is a traitor and deserves the death penalty.

Sgt. 1st Class Nathan Botts, a 22-year veteran in the Army, is speaking out[1] about this cretin…

Botts said that “everything stopped that day,” and that their number one mission moving forward was locating Bergdahl.

He said that the Army had never stopped looking for Bergdahl, and that the impact of Bergdahl’s actions didn’t become truly evident until people in Botts’ own battalion started getting killed.

Bott’s said that he feels that Bergdahl’s desertion is “worthy of the military’s highest punishment,” which is the death penalty.

“He still needs to be held accountable for his actions. He’s still responsible for his actions. And his actions caused a lot of damage.”

Botts also commented on the prisoner exchange that traded Bergdahl for five Taliban members, saying that a “deserter was not worth that.”

Let’s see if Obama finally does the right thing at least in ONE case, anyway!
