Here We Go Again: Two Police Officers Shot in LA, Gunmen Still At Large

After two officers were shot by a “hands up” protester in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, two officers in Los Angeles have now also been shot. The LA shooters are still at large.

It seems to be open season on police[1], thanks to Obama and Eric Holder…

A search is underway for two male suspects who opened fire on two LAPD officers in South Los Angeles Sunday.

The shooting was reported in the area of 65th Street and Broadway at about 5:45 p.m., police said. The shootings appeared to have occurred from a distance and the officers did not appear to be targeted, investigators said.

The officers, who were in plain clothes and in an unmarked vehicle at the time of the shooting, were grazed by gunfire and treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Investigators say the narcotics officers returned fire, but it was unclear if the suspects were hit.

Police say that the officers don’t appear to have been targeted and were victims of a random shooting.

(Edit to note I miswrote that last line earlier today and have corrected it to better reflect the report.)
