Libs Immediately Politicize Conn. School Shooting

In their practice of “never letting a serious crises go to waste,” liberals didn’t even wait for the full story to be reported before using today’s shooting at a Connecticut school for political reasons.

CNN talk show host and British citizen Piers Morgan immediately took to his Twitter account to inject politics into the criminal actions in Connecticut demanding that the U.S. Constitution be altered to his satisfaction and urging President Obama to implement strict gun laws.

Some of Morgan’s tweets:

Showing he doesn’t really understand any of what he’s talking about, Morgan also compared today’s shooting to the massacre in Dunblane, Scotland.

This is America’s Dunblane. We banned handguns in Britain after that appalling tragedy. What will the U.S. do? Inaction not an option.

Does Morgan not understand that Scotland already had strict gun laws but the shooting at Dunblane occurred anyway? Does Morgan not understand that he lacks any logical basis for his thoughts here?

Naturally propaganda filmmaker Michael Moore also immediately took to Twitter to politicize the shooting before many of the facts were known.

“The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy,” Moore Tweeted as soon as the news broke.

If Michael Moore is against “violence as public policy,” we should have seen him decry the union thuggery that just occurred in Lansing, Michigan, shouldn’t we? We’d be waiting in vain for that, though.

Speaking of the Wolverine State, failed Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, now a left-wing cable TV show host also repaired to Twitter to vent her rage. In her case tailored for a Michigan audience: “OMG: R Michigan House passes right to carry guns in schools, churches, daycare centers last night. Please: Stop. The. Madness.”

Of course, as all these liberals blame the U.S. Constitution and guns for the horribly and now all too common shooting sprees, one has to wonder why these massacres are a fairly new phenomenon in a country that has always been awash in guns? Might it be a modern, societal problem and not a problem with our Constitution and laws?
