No One Shows Up for Big College Democrat Convention Event in Philly

Looks like Millenials and others at our nation’s colleges and universities don’t really have that much love for the Democrat Party if the empty auditorium for the College Democrat’s Annual Convention in Philadelphia is any indication. No one showed for the big, big conference last weekend.

It is beyond a doubt that the millenials are foolishly liberal. But it seems that this liberalism is more innate and doesn’t necessarily translate to specific support for the Democrat Party.

The College Democrats of America held its annual conference[1] in Philly this past weekend and no one really showed to participate.

“Despite offering a full day of activities, speakers like Julian Castro, and campaigning advice from top political operatives,” Campus Reform writes today[2], “the College Democrats of America were barely able to fill the first couple rows with young attendees.”

So, this should probably scare the Democrats a bit. Maybe they can expect a lot of support at the polls from this ill-informed generation, but there is no real loyalty to the Democrat brand itself. This leaves the generation quite open to wild swings in voting habits.
