What The… Chicago TV Station Uses Graphic of Nazi ‘Juden’ Star Against Stripes to Mark Jewish Holiday

This one just makes your head spin in disbelief. To celebrate the upcoming Jewish Holiday Yom Kippur, Chicago’s WGN TV used an image of the Nazi “Juden” star that Jews were forced to wear as they were ushered into the ovens during WWII.

Chicago resident Marc Karlinsky Tweeted this amazing Tweet showing WGN’s stupidity…

Holy crap, @WGNNews[1], this is your stock photo for a Jewish holiday?? Nobody thought that's a bad choice of photo? pic.twitter.com/z7BNuvGybS[2]

The TV station did quickly apologize for the horrible choice of graphics.

We are truly sorry for inadvertently using an offensive image in our Yom Kippur story. We apologize and deeply regret the error.
