BREAKING: Another Trump Nomination – Liberals Are Livid!

This is another excellent choice by President-elect Donald Trump. I’m very pleased with this one. Vincent Viola has been tapped to be Secretary of the Army. He’s a West Point graduate and was trained as an Airborne Ranger infantry officer and served in the 101st Airborne Division. I have no doubt he will strengthen the Army and undo the damage Barack Obama has done to it. He’ll have them in fighting shape in no time and he’ll increase recruitment. If you wanted a guy to lead and to clean up someone else’s mess, this is the guy to do it.

Viola is a billionaire and he worked for every penny of it. After leaving the Army, Viola began a trading career at the New York Mercantile Exchange, culminating with a three-year tenure as chairman from 2001-2004. Quite an accomplishment all in itself. He’s not only a warrior, but one hell of a businessman. Did I mention, he also owns the Florida Panthers.

President-elect Donald J. Trump has selected former U.S. Army infantry officer Vincent “Vinnie” Viola to serve as Secretary of the Army.

Viola is another New York billionaire in Trump’s circle, the Financial Founder and Executive Chairman of Virtu Financial.

“Whether it is his distinguished military service or highly impressive track record in the world of business, Vinnie has proved throughout his life that he knows how to be a leader and deliver major results in the face of any challenge,” Trump said in a statement.

“He is a man of outstanding work ethic, integrity, and strategic vision, with an exceptional ability to motivate others. The American people, whether civilian or military, should have great confidence that Vinnie Viola has what it takes to keep America safe and oversee issues of concern to our troops in the Army.”

Viola is a West Point graduate, trained as an Airborne Ranger infantry officer and served in the 101st Airborne Division, according to the Trump campaign, supporting Army philanthropically in the wake of his business success.

“It is an honor to be nominated to serve our country as President-elect Trump’s Secretary of the Army,” Viola said in a statement. “If confirmed, I will work tirelessly to provide our President with the land force he will need to accomplish any mission in support of his National Defense Strategy.” Of that I have no doubt.

“A primary focus of my leadership will be ensuring that America’s soldiers have the ways and means to fight and win across the full spectrum of conflict,” Viola continued. “This great honor comes with great responsibility, and I will fight for the American people and their right to live free every day.” This is the kind of leadership we need for the military, especially with all the threats we are facing currently. Congrats to Vince Viola… another member of Trump’s winners circle and cabinet.
