BREAKING: Former CIA Director CONTRADICTS Media’s ANTI-Trump Narrative – Liberals Shocked! [VIDEO]

In front of the House Intelligence Committee today[1], former CIA Director John Brennan flatly stated that he was unaware of any attempts by President Trump to pressure the intelligence community into dropping their investigation into Michael Flynn and his ties with Russia. That seems pretty substantive to me and definitive. It’s surely not the answer that Ranking Member Adam Schiff was looking for. I guess he’ll have to learn to live with disappointment.

All of this stems from a so-called memo from James Comey: “I hope you can let this go,” the President told Mr. Comey, according to the memo. No one has seen this memo so far. Nothing to this point backs up the allegations by the New York Times or the left at all. No obstruction of justice has been proven whatsoever here.

From Young Conservatives:

Even as the Democrat Party and its handmaidens in the Old Media establishment continue to sell the story that President Donald Trump tried to pressure the U.S. intelligence community to stop its investigations into former national security adviser Mike Flynn, former CIA Director John Brennan has testified that there is no proof that Trump did any such thing.

Via Katie Pavlich of Townhall.com[3]:

Testifying in front of the House Intelligence Committee Tuesday, former CIA Director John Brennan said he is unaware of any efforts by President Trump or his staff to pressure the intelligence community into dropping the criminal investigation surrounding former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Brennan served under President Obama.

Ranking Member Adam Schiff asked Brennan if he knew of any proof that Trump asked then FBI Director James Comey to stop looking into connections between Mike Flynn and Russia.

To that, Brennan said “no sir.”

The best that the New York Times[4] and the Democrats got out of this today is that Brennan was concerned about the ties between Trump and the Russians. That’s not even faintly damning. However, he did say that US intelligence found contact between Russian officials and people involved with the Trump campaign at a time in 2016 when the Russians were “brazenly” interfering in the presidential election. I’m not sure what that means. And Brennan should know better than most that the Russians interfere in EVERY election. This is nothing new.

I also watched Brennan[5] do the two-step with Trey Gowdy where he hid behind information and claims that he labeled as ‘classified’. Getting the truth out of these asshats is like pulling teeth. “I encountered and am aware of information and intelligence that revealed contacts and interactions between Russian officials and US persons involved in the Trump campaign that I was concerned about because of known Russian efforts to suborn such individuals,” Brennan said Tuesday at an open session of the House Intelligence Committee. “And it raised questions in my mind again whether or not the Russians were able to gain the cooperation of those individuals.”

But that does not rise to the level of proof. It is accusatory and prejudicial. Brennan added, however, that he did not know whether any collusion existed as a result of those contacts. And that is my point here. The President denies it and there is no substantive proof of it, ergo, it’s bull feces. Let the truth be uncovered here and fall where it may. But it must be set in the stone of verifiable evidence, not conjecture by some liberal hack.
