Trump Drops NUKE on Hillary During Fox News Interview [VIDEO]

President Trump did an interview on Fox this week with Maria Bartiromo. I watched part of it. In it he claimed that Hillary Clinton would be going on trial if it weren’t for James Comey of the FBI. He said he was very, very good to her. A couple of thoughts here… I wouldn’t call that being very good to her… I would call it being complicit. Everyone in the civilized world and DC knows Clinton is corrupt and dirty. She’s guilty as hell and Comey helped her walk. But he wasn’t alone. President Trump himself declined to go after Clinton once he was elected. I remember his base being very upset about that. And even when Maria asked about getting rid of Comey, Trump said no. He says he has confidence in him. I’m so confused.

I have to wonder if this means that Trump is reconsidering going after the Hildabeast. Hope springs eternal. But you just can’t tell with Trump. He keeps everyone guessing. You should watch the interview, it is a good one and worth the time. Pressed why he wouldn’t ask Comey to step down now, Trump told Bartiromo: “I want to give everybody a good fair chance. Director Comey was very, very good to Hillary Clinton. That I can tell you. If he weren’t, she would be going to trial.” With all due respect Mr. President, that is a mistake. Comey needs to go and should already be gone. He is not a ‘friend’ of this administration.

From the Washington Examiner:

President Trump argued in a television interview that aired Wednesday that former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton would be “going to trial” if FBI director Jim Comey hadn’t been “very, very good” to her.

Speaking to Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo, Trump was asked if it was a mistake not to ask Comey to step down and if it’s too late to do so now.

“No it’s not too late,” Trump said. “But you know, I have confidence in him. We’ll see what happens. It’s going to be interesting.”

Trump then brought up how Comey announced in July he wouldn’t recommend prosecution over Clinton’s email server while secretary of state.

“Don’t forget when Jim Comey came out, he saved Hillary Clinton,” Trump said. “People don’t realize that. He saved her life. Because I call it ‘Comey 1.’ And I joke about it a little bit. When he was reading those charges, she was guilty of every charge. And then he said she was essentially OK.”

When Maria queried Trump on getting a Special Prosecutor to go after Clinton, he said: “I don’t want to talk about that. I want to talk about positive.” Not a good move in my viewpoint, but it is what it is. The conversation also turned to Susan Rice. Bartiromo asked Trump about the Obama administration relaxing the rules about sharing intercepted personal communications and the ability to share those with 16 other intelligence agencies. Trump said it’s “so obvious” what the Obama administration was doing, saying “nobody believes” Rice’s actions were not political. You can tell that President Trump feels vindicated here and he should. He was right.

I really hope that somehow at some point that Clinton, Rice, Obama and all the other Democrats who did such blatantly corrupt crap, get their comeuppance. Americans want to see that… heck they need to see that to have their faith in the system restored. And I still say that anyone remotely connected to Obama needs to be purged in the White House and the agencies.

One thing I did like though is how that interview must have raised Clinton’s blood pressure. I’ll bet she was furious when she heard it.
