Trump Finally Explains The Real Reason He’s Always On Twitter

Does it feel like Trump never logs out of social media? It seems like he is always on Twitter, although I know that’s not possible. I also know he has other people monitoring Twitter for him as well. I get an image of Trump up at 3 am tweeting away when no one can stop him. One is inclined to wonder how he manages to get anything done if he’s always tweeting. How does he have the time to do anything else? Apparently I’m not the only one who has asked this question, because the President himself felt the need to address it. And did so on Twitter.

Beautiful. Simply brilliant. That describes his strategy with Twitter to a ‘T’. And the left hates him all the more for it. They have not be able to win the battle of social media with Trump since the beginning.

Trump said, “I use Social Media not because I like to, but because it is the only way to fight a VERY dishonest and unfair “press,” now often referred to as Fake News Media. Phony and non-existent “sources” are being used more often than ever. Many stories & reports a pure fiction!” Trump has used social media expertly — far and away better than anyone I have ever seen. It arguably got him elected and has given him an upper hand with his detractors and enemies. It also provides him a platform to get his message out to his base quickly and that has worked wonderfully as well.

Politico has described Trump’s Twitter account as “a force, a newsmaker, an agitator, an American political phenomenon,” who has “shocked and traumatized those individuals on the receiving end” of his often-harsh tweets. He’s a master at it. A tweet from Trump can rock the stock markets or move geopolitics. It could start a war or create new allies. It can take down foes and promotes those he favors. It’s the ultimate marketing tool. It’s like running a royal court from a keyboard.

This is not the first time that Trump has been forced to take on the media via Twitter. In fact, most of America prefers that he delivers news directly to the media via his social platforms, rather than feeding it to the dishonest mainstream media and allowing them to chop it up and analyze it before it’s finally given to us for consumption. American’s don’t like sanitized news. It’s one of the more alluring parts of his Presidency because we get everything – good and bad – straight from the horse’s mouth. This is opposed to past Presidents who spoke only to the media and allowed the machine to spin their message for the masses. That was great, I suppose, when you’re a liberal and the media is on your side. I mean, who wouldn’t want to look like a knight in shining armor here to save America when the reality is that the emperor isn’t wearing any clothes?

Trump doesn’t have the benefit of having the mainstream media in his pocket and now he’s using every tool at his disposal to make sure that he is in control of the message. This is both glorious and frustrating. It’s amazing because we haven’t had this much transparency from a President in a LONG time, but it’s frustrating because you can tell there is nobody proofing his tweets before they go out. Some of them are definitely unnecessary and unbecoming of the office, but I guess that’s what happens when you are getting info directly from the source in real time. It’s may be what determines whether Trump will be a good or a great President.

Trump has called out the “fake news media” many times over the past year, including outlets like CNN, MSNBC, the Washington Post and The New York Times. He even wished them a happy New Year. But the media has colluded with Trump’s enemies and with those against him in the intel and government agencies that should instead be supporting him. They can no longer be trusted. The media has become nothing more than a leftist propaganda machine.

Twitter became a weapon of necessity for Trump. The left never saw it coming and they can’t find a handle on how to combat it. That’s the beauty of Twitter. The truth gets out no matter what.
