Trump’s Walk of Fame Star Might Be Removed For This Reason

It has been revealed that the Hollywood Historic Trust is considering removing Donald Trump’s star off the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The reason? Because people just can’t stop themselves from defacing it. How sad that these special little snowflakes just cannot keep their hands to themselves.

From US Uncut:

There has been the traditional vandalism, with messages expressing their disgust with the presidential candidate scrawled all over the star.

One activist spray painted the mute symbol over his name in clear protest of Trump’s famously hateful and racist rhetoric.

Another person drew a swastika:

Another let their dog defecate on it:

Trump would be the first star to ever be removed from the Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Historic Trust has even refused to remove Bill Cosby’s name following his rape allegations.

“Once a star has been added to the Walk,” said Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and CEO, “it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”

However, the city of Los Angeles has clearly spoken. If these acts of protest continue to persist, activists may succeed in forcing them to rid Hollywood Boulevard of a star which has come to represent a memorial for hate.

Really, Hollywood? What will you do if he becomes president? This hardly seems like a solution to the problem that you have of people expelling bodily fluids on the Boulevard in general. I’m sure stepping up police presence there would be out of the question, but it might at least benefit the smell on the Boulevard as well.

What do you think? Should Trump’s star be the first EVER to be removed, or should the city take measures to preserve the historic landmark? Sound off below!
