Hoo boy! Someone is off their meds big time here. Tucker Carlson interviewed (at least that is what I think it was) Kurt Eichenwald of Newsweek last night. I think Carlson asked a very simple, straightforward question and what he got in return was a long-winded stream of gibberish. He asked Eichenwald why he tweeted the following: “I believe Trump was institutionalized in a mental hospital for a nervous breakdown in 1990, which is why he won’t release medical records.” Eichenwald was arrogant and extremely condescending to Carlson and proceeded to not answer the question for the better part of ten minutes. He even brought up the CIA towards the end. He sounded nuts, which I suspect he is.
Did I say ‘nuts’? That doesn’t do it justice. The guy is a flaming fruit basket. He ranted on about having obtained Donald Trump’s medical records… which if I am not mistaken, is a crime. He bloviated on how Trump didn’t get enough sleep and was on a long term prescription of some sort. That he was upset about his divorce and bankruptcies at the time. But he never answered Tucker’s question and you know why? Because he doesn’t want to be sued. Too late dude… your tweets have all been saved for posterity and a courtroom. Geez.
From Fox News Insider:
Tonight, Tucker Carlson called out Newsweek senior writer Kurt Eichenwald for controversial claims he’s made about President-elect Donald Trump.
Carlson pointed to one particular tweet in which Eichenwald wrote, “I believe Trump was institutionalized in a mental hospital for a nervous breakdown in 1990, which is why he won’t release medical records.”
He asked Eichenwald to reveal what proof he has for that allegation.
Is this what Facebook and the AP call a ‘real journalist’? This guy reports using rumor and cannot produce one single bit of evidence to back anything up. Way to go Newsweek! They were already so unprofitable they are only online… these are the geniuses that ran with a cover and pulled a Chicago Daily Tribune faux pas that a la Dewey, proclaimed Hillary Clinton our next President.
Eichenwald kept saying over and over and over again that nobody was fooled by Carlson. He’s right… they weren’t. Carlson mopped the floor with this maroon. Adding self-serving delusion to the mix, when Tucker started reading his tweets, Eichenwald held up something that said Tucker Carlson Falsehoods. So, this jerk won’t answer any questions or provide any proof, but calls Tucker a liar. Dude, do you even watch the show?
Eichenwald deleted at least 46 tweets in the end. I sure hope he has an excellent attorney on retainer because what he did to President-elect Trump is definitely defamatory in nature. Oh well, he’ll probably plead insanity… at least he has proof for that.
