Professors Teaching Your Kids Not To Support The Troops

One of the biggest mistakes we make in this country is allowing communists, terrorists, perverts, race hucksters, and America-loathing left wingers to work as professors. The very idea that we should allow morally bankrupt wackos with an ax to grind to teach impressionable young college students about the world is insane.

Yet, professors like Michael Avery at Suffolk University Law School[1] are still being allowed to infect college students with their warped views.

Michael Avery composed a five-paragraph message to his colleagues in response to a campus-wide drive for care packages for American troops stationed overseas. In his email, Avery wrote that it is “shameful that it is perceived as legitimate to solicit in an academic institution for support for men and women who have gone overseas to kill other human beings.” Avery specializes in constitutional law.

Avery’s email also included at least one other controversial remark: Sympathy for American troops, he wrote, is “not particularly rational in today’s world.”

Those remarks should disqualify Avery from being a professor just as surely as if he were a pre-school teacher who joined NAMBLA. If you’re a donor to Suffolk University Law School, hopefully, you will show your support for the troops and what they’ve done for this country by refusing to cut any more checks as long as Michael Avery is at the university.
