MEDIA BIAS: 2005 Trump Tape Gets More Media Coverage in 48 Hrs Than Juanita Broaddrick in 17 Yrs

Media bias has run rampant this election season. The liberals in the media want Hillary Clinton to be president and they’ve done everything they can to ensure that she gets elected. And that has never been more clear than over the past several days.

Donald Trump has been battling widespread outrage after audio leaked from a conversation he had 11 years ago with Billy Bush. In it, he talked about how he tried to sleep with a married woman — later identified as Nancy O’Dell — and bragged about sexually assaulting women. The audio was disgusting and rightfully caused many Republicans to drop their support of Trump. The media likewise trumpeted the audio as often as they could.

But Media Research Center founder Brent Bozell uncovered some shady business[2] with this media coverage: the media covered the Trump audio more in 48 hours than they did the rape accusation Juanita Broaddrick made against Bill Clinton in 17 years.

The media is not wrong for covering the Trump audio. That’s their job. Americans deserve to know what kind of character Donald Trump has. However, where the media has massively failed is by refusing to do the same for Hillary Clinton.

The Juanita Broaddrick rape accusations are credible; there’s no doubting this by now. The same goes for the sexual assault accusations made by other women, like Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey.

Some people try to defend this by saying that all of these scandals surrounding the Clintons happened a long time ago and that Bill Clinton isn’t running for president. Both of these things are true. But Hillary Clinton is running for president. And if we look at these scandals, what do we know about her character?

We don’t have to try Bill Clinton in the media again. But people deserve to know how Hillary Clinton actually treats women who are victims of sexual assault. If the media did its job, then Americans would know how Hillary responded to these women: she threw them under the bus. She didn’t stand by her fellow women. She didn’t even stay quiet and let it play out in a court of law. She attacked them, threatened them and did everything she could to silence them in order to protect her husband’s political career.

The Donald Trump audio is relevant and people should know about it. But they should also know about Hillary and how she handles these situations. That’s what being neutral is all about.
