There are times in my life where I look out across the massive expanse of wasteland created by feminism and think, “Man I really hate being a woman.” Not because I was born the wrong gender, not because I’m “self-hating,” not even because of the weird, painful things my body does to me once a month without my permission.
No, I hate being a woman sometimes because I get lumped in with feminazis like this one. You see, I can’t hold a moderately feminist position without being called all sorts of names and being associated with crazies like what you’re about to see. It’s actually spectacularly annoying.
People like this are why people like me refuse the feminist label.

So, according to Lara Witt, here are the things every “intersectional feminist” should ask their partner on the first date. Because who doesn’t like to be interrogated over pasta and excoriated for answering “incorrectly” while eating chocolate cake? This probably guarantees there won’t be a second date. Witt says she has no time to date anyone who does not support “marginalized folks.” I feel marginalized just by reading this crap.
“As a queer femme of color, I keep close relationships with people who go beyond allyship; they’re true accomplices in the fight against white supremacy, queerphobia, and misogyny. If you’re not going to support marginalized folks, then we can’t be friends, let alone date,” she says. “The personal is political.” Cool, let’s not then.
Here’s her demented requirements – this woman seriously needs a therapist:
“Do you believe that black lives matter?” No human being with a fully-functioning heart and brain is going to say no to this. You’re just virtue signalling. If they answer with “well no,” then get out of there because you’re literally dating Hitler. How about ‘all lives matter’?
“What are your thoughts on gender and sexual orientation?” Uh, maybe talk about your favorite movie first? I don’t know, seems a little heavy for appetizer conversation. But since you asked, there are two genders and you are biologically what you are born as. Capiche?
“How do you work to dismantle sexism and misogyny in your life?” Maybe this question is why the only males in your life are your neutered cats. Ever think of that, Lara?
“What are your thoughts on sex work?” Not so sure it’s a good idea to talk about sex on the first date, but you do you. That’s not something I EVER think about, much less discuss on a date.
“Are you a supporter of the BDS movement?” So, Lara feels it’s necessary for a potential date to establish anti-Israel creds. BDS stands for boycott, divestment and sanctions… in regards to Israel. Basically, Jewish students are being told that they must disavow their Zionism and their connection to Israel, which is a central aspect of the Jewish faith, before they can participate in campus life, especially when it comes to progressive social justice activities like anti-rape demonstrations, Black Lives Matter events and LGBT and women’s rights advocacy. And I guess that includes dating.
“What is your understanding of settler colonialism and indigenous rights?” Basically just grunt “White man bad” and her eyes will light up like sparklers.
“Do you think capitalism is exploitative?” Something tells me the person who asked this works for minimum wage with no plans to better themselves. Cue pro-communists.
“Can any human be illegal?” I don’t know, Lara, why don’t you ask all of the people Mexico deports from Central America? This same person would also ask are any laws really valid? Yes, Lara… illegal immigrants are ‘illegal’. You might want to ask Kate Steinle’s parents about that.
“Do you support Muslim Americans and non-Muslim people from Islamic countries?” Support them how? What would even be the right answer to this question? As a constitutionalist, of course I support the rights of Muslims to worship peacefully. But I don’t support radical Islamists and I personally believe everyone who comes into this country should be vetted… especially those from terrorist strongholds, which many Islamic countries are.
“Does your allyship include disabled folks?” No. Absolutely not. I think the entire world should be made out of stairs. What a dumb question. Here’s a thought… I don’t even notice someone’s disability. I’m more interested in the being.
What even are these questions? If someone asked me this I would politely excuse myself and run for the door, leaving the nice fellow at the front with a fat tip. You might as well call it the anti-Trump, anti-American questionnaire. Only Marxists need apply.
