Fan asks UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov to hit him in the stomach

A general rule of life: You should always be careful what you wish for, because you just might not want it.

Not many UFC lightweights can claim to be as vicious[1] as Khabib Nurmagomedov in the octagon. This Russian fighter is no joke, so when a crazy fan willingly asked him to sock him right in the stomach, then egged on to make sure he did it, ‘The Eagle’ just couldn’t let his fans down. Khabib ended up dropping the guy with a short right hook to the body, which sent the crowd into uproarious laughter at the fortune of the withering fan. Who wouldn’t laugh? The idiot did ask for it, after all.

“This is not my job,” Nurmagomedov made sure to post on his Instagram. “Crazy Fan.”

Nurmagomedov, 28, is the top-ranked UFC lightweight contender and has amassed a professional MMA record of 24-0, dominating in sixteen fights via stoppage.

Despite his feared reputation, the Dagestani fighter has faced injury and weight cutting complications throughout his career and has been sidelined from competition for the better part of a year.

Nurmagomedov was scheduled to face the No. 2 ranked Tony Ferguson for the interim 155-pound title in March but was forced to pull out at the last minute due to a failed weight cut which left him hospitalized.

The fan favorite plans to return to the octagon in the fall and is reported to face UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, who is presently preparing to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a 12-round boxing match on Aug. 26. McGregor, who just turned 29 last week, is fascinated about fighting Nurmagomedov in his own home country of Russia. Can’t say that I don’t feel a little Rocky/Drago thing going on here…except, well, besides McGregor of course being Irish…yeah, okay that doesn’t work.
