Know What’s Not The Least Bit “Audacious”? Giving SEALs Permission To Kill Osama Bin Laden

Killing Osama Bin Laden is one thing that was done right in the sinkhole of misery and failure that is Barack Obama’s presidency. But the Obama Administration, being the Obama Administration, doesn’t even know how to handle that[1].

Vice President Joseph Biden on Monday night upped the ante around the already quite-dramatic assassination of Osama bin Laden.

You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain. We never had more than a 48 percent probability that he was there.

If you think killing Osama is a “gutsy call” or an “audacious plan,” then you’re probably not up to the task of being President of the United States. It’s really NOT that tough. The military rings you up. They say, “We think we know where Osama bin Laden is. Can we go kill him? Please? Pretty please with sugar on it?” Then you say, “Yes.”

However, therein lies the rub. This is the one good thing Obama can take credit for and he doesn’t want the SEALs getting all the recognition. So, his very minor role in the whole process has to be elevated to the linchpin of the whole exercise. It’s not the people who found Bin Laden or the SEALs who took him out who made this happen. It’s the politician who’s bungling the war in Afghanistan who should get all the credit for not following his instincts and saying, “No, you may not go kill Osama Bin Laden.”

How ridiculous.
