LANDSLIDE! French election wasn’t even close… it was a CRUSHING victory.

The French have spoken and a lot of conservative Americans aren’t going to be pleased with the outcome.

Socialist Emmanuel Macron won the French election with a 31-point lead over Marine Le Pen, who many in the media called “far-right.”

Macron, the pro-EU candidate, became France’s youngest President at the age of 39, where he won with a projected total of 65.5%

Many American conservatives and Republicans were hoping that National Front candidate Marine Le Pen, 48, would be able to beat back the Socialist and implement a hard-line immigration agenda that would hopefully keep the people of France safe from future attacks like the ones they faced in 2016.

Unfortunately, Brexit and the election of Donald Trump didn’t seem to give Le Pen enough momentum to become leader, but it is Macron who is attending celebrations tonight.

Macron has vowed to fight “inequality and discrimination” in France and “deal with the economy and moral weakness” faced by the country.

He was “warmly congratulated” by British Prime Minister Theresa May, who claims that she looks forward to working with the young President. Macron, by contrast, called Brexit a “crime” and said that he would like to see the UK excluded from Europe’s single market, despite admitting that he and his wife often vacation to London and Bristol.

You can see exactly how dedicated he is to his beliefs, obviously. This should have been the first red flag to the French people, but clearly they’re not interested in having principled leaders.

In Right Wing News owner John Hawkins’ new book, 101 Things All Young Adults Should Know[2], he advises people to watch the actions of others if they truly want a good judge of intent. Unfortunately, all we can do is wait and see what kind of actions Macron is going to take and in which direction they will take France. Let’s hope it doesn’t take another massive tragedy to show the French how big of a mistake they made.
