Westboro Baptist Church Shows Up To Ruin Orlando Victim’s Memorial – Then THIS Happens

I don’t consider the Westboro Baptist Church members Christians… not even remotely. As Christians we are taught to love everyone, even those we do not agree with. Their actions are not borne of love, but of hate and it is evil. 49 people were slaughtered in Orlando and during a memorial for those taken too soon, the Westboro jerks showed up to spread their brand of hate. Hundreds of people formed a human chain to keep them out and some were even dressed as angels. Good for them. The haters of Westboro are not welcome anywhere, especially at a remembrance of those who died at the hands of an ISIS Jihadist.

From BizPac Review:

Despicable disciples from the controversial Westboro Baptist Church showed up in Orlando, Florida, on Thursday as the first of the 49 victims killed by a radicalized Muslim gunman was being laid to rest, but the City Beautiful was in NO MOOD to put up with their nonsense.

The so-called “Christians” forewarned of their dastardly intentions, as seen in this post from Twitter:

But hundreds of folks turned out to ensure that Westboro did not interrupt funeral services or otherwise add to the grief of family and friends of the victims of the Pulse nightclub attack.

God didn’t send the shooter and He certainly didn’t send the Westboro nimrods… although I’m sure Satan rejoiced. Those families deserve to grieve in peace and mourn the loss of those they loved. The GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, in conjuction with the American Theater in Orlando and the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, created large angel wings for supporters to wear to shield the grieving families from the Westboro hate group. Westboro spokesman Steve Drain told USA Today they plan to protest at two of the victims’ funerals on Saturday. “It’s not about that person, it’s about that whole societal phenomenon,” Drain said. “It’s never been OK to be gay and it’s never going to be OK to be gay, no matter how much the spirit of the times calls for the popularity of that sin.” It is not for you to judge. That is between these people and God. As Christians, you are tasked with comforting those at a time like this… not pronouncing judgement. Matthew 7:3-5 King James Version (KJV): “And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” These people are not acting as Christians, but as judge, jury and executioner. They presume to know the mind of God and that is a grave sin.
