Clinton Camp Now Claims Every Email Was Reviewed

Well, sure, why not. This is an attempt to satisfy those Democrat voters who have lost faith in the potential for Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic Party presidential candidate for 2016, rather than providing a real defense of her potentially lawless actions

(Fox News[1]) Hillary Clinton’s camp late Sunday issued a significant clarification about the steps they say were taken to review thousands of personal emails before they were deleted, claiming her team individually read “every email” before discarding those deemed private.

Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill made the clarification in a written statement to Fox News. This comes after the former secretary of state’s office revealed last week that while more than 30,000 “work-related” emails were turned over to the State Department, nearly 32,000 were deemed “private” and deleted.

This admission raised questions over how her team decided to get rid of those messages. Merrill on Sunday clarified an earlier fact sheet that described some of those methods but did not say every email was read.

“We simply took for granted that reading every single email came across as the most important, fundamental and exhaustive step that was performed. The fact sheet should have been clearer in stating that every email was read,” Merrill said.

Of course, perhaps they did, in fact, read every single email, and that is why 32000 were deleted. Not because they were of a personal nature, but because they hurt Hillary. If she was using that email address as her official State Department email address, she has no right to delete any emails, regardless of any sort of personal nature. And it looks as if there will be a House probe

(The Hill[2]) Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) is poised to announce an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of private email as secretary of State, ABC News reported Sunday[3], citing unidentified top House Republicans.

ABC said Boehner is expected to announce the investigation this week.

The next line is vastly amusing

The probe could signal that Republicans intend to make the issue a centerpiece of their attacks on Clinton as she moves to officially unveil her expected 2016 Democratic presidential bid.

Or, it could be that the House sees yet another case of lawlessness from a member of the Obama administration.

Anyhow, as you can guess, Democrats are unhappy about any potential investigation, and are rallying around Hillary, because laws, rules, and regulations apply to Other People.
