Haven’t Had Enough of the Clintons? Chelsea Is Being Groomed to Run for Public Office

Because that’s what we really need as a nation…[1] another Clinton to carry on the corrupt tradition of the family. Chelsea Clinton is reportedly being groomed to run for the House of Representatives in New York. This has taken quite some thought and planning by the Clintons. They have purchased the home next door to theirs in Chappaqua for Chelsea’s little family in order to position her just right to run for office. How sweet… not.

What’s more they are manipulating politics once again with a plan for Chelsea to take the place of Nita Lowey as she retires from office. They see this as a continuation of their brand. Americans see it as a continuation of a crooked political line. We want nothing to do with the heir to the Clinton dynasty.

The New York Post reported that Clinton, 36, is being eyed to take Rep. Nita Lowey’s place when the 79-year-old incumbent decides to leave the House of Representatives.

Lowey represents New York’s 17th District, which covers part of Westchester County, including Bill and Hillary Clinton’s hometown of Chappaqua. The Post reported that the Clintons have purchased the home next door to theirs, in which they plan to install Chelsea, her husband and their two children.

Chelsea Clinton currently lives, and is registered to vote, in Manhattan. She introduced Hillary Clinton when her mother accepted the Democratic nomination for president at this summer’s national convention in Philadelphia.

“Chelsea would be the next extension of the Clinton brand,” the Post quoted a source as saying. “While politics isn’t the life Hillary wanted for Chelsea, she chose to go on the campaign trail for her mother and has turned out to be very poised, articulate and comfortable with the visibility.”

Chelsea herself has not ruled out seeking public office, telling Buzzfeed in 2014 that “I find it pretty discouraging that almost none of my friends think about running for public office as an option.”

The Clintons spent[3] a cool $1.16 million to buy the home next to theirs for Chelsea. A source told the New York Post: “While it is true the Clintons need some time to regroup after Hillary’s crushing loss, they will not give up. Chelsea would be the next extension of the Clinton brand. In the past few years, she has taken a very visible role in the Clinton Foundation and on the campaign trail. While politics isn’t the life Hillary wanted for Chelsea, she chose to go on the campaign trail for her mother and has turned out to be very poised, articulate and comfortable with the visibility.”

The source continued, “There has been a lot of speculation within New York Democratic circles about Lowey’s retirement and Chelsea running for the seat. There is a belief that Chappaqua is a logical place for Chelsea to run, because it would be straightforward for her to raise money and build a powerful base.” So it looks like the Clinton nightmare is not through after all. Chelsea will surely try and follow in her mother’s hoof prints. God help us all.
