JUST IN: Clinton White House Emails “Stolen”

by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton | November 4, 2016 9:46 am

A two-terabyte hard drive was stolen[1] from the National Archives in 2009, according to an email from WikiLeaks. On that hard drive was personal identity information of White House staffers, such as their birth date and social security numbers. On there as well, was sensitive information and some classified information. I have no idea if this is true or not, but it probably is. It would be nice to know if they caught whoever did it… again, probably not. The American public never found out and that may be a national security issue. One thing is for sure, it was most likely a spy or someone the Clintons hired that stole it. The hard drive contained emails and information from Bill Clinton’s presidency. Go figure.

Remember Sandy Berger[2]? He removed classified documents in October 2003 from a National Archives reading room prior to testifying before the 9/11 Commission. The documents were five classified copies of a single report commissioned from Richard Clarke covering internal assessments of the Clinton Administration’s handling of the unsuccessful 2000 millennium attack plots. An associate of Berger said Berger took one copy in September 2003 and four copies in October 2003, allegedly by stuffing the documents into his socks and pants. Berger subsequently lied to investigators when questioned about the removal of the documents. So, once again… we have another theft of Clinton information from the National Archives. Wonder who it was this time?

From The Federalist Papers Project:

A two-terabyte drive containing emails from the White House under former President Bill Clinton has presumably been stolen from the National Archives, according to an email posted by WikiLeaks on Twitter.

Here’s a bigger version of the email in case the above is too small:

Sensitive information, personal information, and even some classified information is apparently included on the stolen drive.

According to the email, the three classified documents on the drive, which NARA had a copy of, were examined by Bill Leary and do not “present any significant risk.”

Who knows if anything will come of this, but it doesn’t bode well for the Clintons, who are mired in scandals left, right, and center.

I doubt that anything comes of this. It’s in the past, what does it matter? But it should. You have to wonder if anything else has gone missing. The National Archives had a copy of the drive (finally, someone has a brain), but it would be just peachy to find out who took it. You know, for national security and all that.
