From Metro:
The purebreed German shepherd has a condition called short spine syndrome which, as the name would suggest, means his spine is unusually short.
An animal shelter in Minnesota is now looking for a home for him.
It is thought there are only 13 dogs in the world with short spine syndrome.
Sara Anderson, foster coordinator at Secondhand Hounds, told CNN[3]: ‘Born different but never knowing any other way, he seeks to please the people who have shown him kind hands and warm hearts.’
And she added: ‘He gets around just fine and knows exactly how to snuggle to fit into a lap.
‘He may not be as pretty as many dogs on the outside, but his heart and soul shine through and make him one of God’s most beautiful creatures.’
A fan page, Quasi The Great[4], was created on Facebook to teach people about his condition.
