IDIOCY: Teen Vogue Writer Says: ‘Wake Me Up When Men are Obsolete’

Lauren Duca is a young, moronic feminist who evidently writes for Teen Vogue. She tweeted this week: “Wake me up when men are obsolete.” So, never then? This is why I hate feminists, they lack panache and are just offensive as hell. I don’t know where they get off saying men are bad. They are just men and if they didn’t exist, neither would feminists. The man-hatred out there these days is unhinged. Frankly, I just don’t get it. I know many men who I love to debate and are incredibly witty, as well as fun to be around. I guarantee you, Lauren Duca is not like that. I’ll take men, thank you.

Even her fellow social justice warriors think she was over the line with this one. Several men who claim to be on her side were offended by this man-hating tweet. I don’t blame them in the least. Dana Loesch had the best line out there: “As a mother of sons, wake me up when this corny, PCU-esque rhetoric is obselete.” I could not agree more. It’s tiresome. I’m sick of the whole gender thing. I don’t judge people by their sex, their color or the way they part their damned hair. Give it a rest already.

From Breitbart:

Teen Vogue writer and Hillary Clinton pen pal Lauren Duca took to Twitter on Thursday to joke about the extinction of the male gender.

“Wake me up when men are obsolete,” Duca wrote. Duca, who writes for Teen Vogue, received a personal letter from Hillary Clinton in June in which the former First Lady told Duca that the internet is “not a friendly place for women.”

Duca’s tweet sparked a backlash, even amongst her fans and those who consider themselves “feminist allies.” One user, who claimed he loved Duca’s work, wrote that he couldn’t support the tweet because he had a young son. “That’s not a message I can get behind,” he wrote.

Journalist Noah Gittell, whose work has appeared in the Atlantic, Slate, and the Guardian, claimed that although he considers himself an “ally,” he claimed it “hurts to have this kind of broad judgment made about my gender.” Ultimately, Gittell justified Duca’s tweet by arguing that joking about men can only result in hurt feelings.

The entire feminist movement is devoid of intellectual acuity. Men and women are a mixture of good and bad. Sex has nothing to do with that… morality and principles do. That’s probably something that is foreign to Duca. This is the same broad who doesn’t seem to understand Hollywood economics and was dumb enough to get into it with Tucker Carlson over Ivanka Trump.

In the end, Duca argued that the tweet was simply a joke and mocked those who expressed concern. This is so typical. When an argument falls flat, leftists always claim it was a joke. We all know it wasn’t and that is a lie. For the life of me, I don’t know why any man would back a feminist in the first place… that’s just dumb. But there are feminists out there that don’t hate men. Duca probably specifically hates white men and falls back on patriarchy as well. The key word here is ‘hate’. The political correctness of it all is getting old.
