Bristol Palin Hits Back at the ‘Hypocrisy of the Media’ on Violence Against Women in a Scorching Blog Post

That’s right… go after the women. Because if you tried that with a big, conservative man, you’d get your ass whipped, as you should. Two of the Palin girls get shoved down, manhandled, called derogatory names and basically physically abused and Carol Costello at CNN thinks it’s funny and says you can thank her later. Here’s your thank you, you shrew… CNN should fire you. No apology publicly or privately will ever be enough to erase the pain and damage you did on national television. CNN is the vanguard of hypocritical lapdogs for Obama and they soooo hate the Palins because they still, and forever will, fear Sarah Palin — a true Tea Party conservative.

From IJReview:

Bristol also describes the incident as a case of family defending family. Her chronology:

  • A Palin family friend got hit by a “cheap shot” from behind.
  • Willow Palin told the assailant’s mom to “get ahold of your son.”
  • The assailant’s mom pushed Willow down.
  • Willow ran to Bristol, crying.
  • Bristol attempted to confront the woman, but a different man pushed her down, screamed derogatory names at her, and held her down until someone rescued her.
  • Bristol did hit the man in the face.
  • Bristol had bruises “all over” from being pushed down.

It’s not the same scenario that Alaska bloggers and other media reports recounted immediately following. But, as Bristol says:

Here’s the thing.  Violence against women is never okay…  Even if that violence occurs against conservative women.  Imagine for a second the outrage that would happen if Chelsea Clinton had gotten pushed by some guy.  Had she tried to defend herself, the liberal media would’ve held her up as some feminist hero.

Violence against women is never a laughing matter, and certainly not something to “sit back and enjoy,” as CNN anchor Carol Costello said when introducing the police audiotape of Bristol’s interview.

Bristol Palin is a young, single mother trying to make a living, love her family and live her life the right way. Costello is an aging, bitter has-been looking to get a sound bite from her viciousness and pettiness. She deserves derision and Bristol deserves to be left alone. This double standard and war on women from Progressive men and women on the Left is a political weapon and shows just how much of a moral deficit they run in all areas of humanity.
