Democrat Rep Furious At Ryan For Repealing Amendment In “The Dead Of Night” [VIDEO]

Barbara Lee is a nut AND a communist. So, you can imagine my surprise when both Democrats and Republicans backed her insane Authorization for Use of Military Force repeal amendment. She has been pushing this AUMF repeal for years. She hates the military and wants to stop them from doing what we need to do to protect our country and our interests around the world. She also wants to sabotage President Trump and the Republicans. This time, she got out-smarted.

Paul Ryan stripped her repeal amendment from the House Appropriations defense spending bill in a late night session. The Republicans are working all hours these days and I guess she wasn’t there. Even though Republicans had backed the abhorrent repeal, Ryan correctly said it was a mistake. He rectified that. There was nothing underhanded or undemocratic about it… it’s nothing the Democrats haven’t done themselves many times over. Payback’s a b*tch and so is Lee.

From Western Journalism:

Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., blasted House Speaker Paul Ryan Tuesday, saying he “stripped” her Authorization for Use of Military Force repeal amendment in the “dead of night.”

In a series of tweets, Lee said the move was “underhanded and undemocratic” and argued that the American people deserve a debate on the issue.

“Ryan stripped my 01 AUMF repeal (amendment) from DOD Approps in the dead of night. This is underhanded and undemocratic. The people deserve a debate!” Lee tweeted.

“Ryan should be ashamed of himself for forcing Republicans to strip out my bipartisan AUMF amdt in the dead of night. What is he afraid of?” she added in another tweet minutes later.

The war authorization Lee was referring to was passed in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and gave the president the authority to use “appropriate force” against the terrorists responsible for the attacks.

Lee is pitching a royal fit over all this. She’s all but stomping her feet and flailing on the ground because she was outdone here. It’s normal for her to throw a tantrum and act like this. For the life of me, I do not know how this woman keeps getting elected.

The Authorization for Use of Military Force was passed after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. So was a 2002 authorization for the Iraq War. Both have been used more than 37 times in the last 16 years by the past three presidents to justify military action in 14 countries, including the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

Lee said after a meeting with Ryan earlier this month that he “did not commit to preserving this amendment in the Rules Committee.” She should not be surprised by this move. Personally, I’m glad Ryan did it. No one screamed like this when the Dems did this under Obama. Frankly, I don’t care when it was carried out as long as it was done. This is one time I support Paul Ryan on what he did.
