At Prayer Breakfast, Obama Equates Christianity With Islamic State Savagery

As the Islamic State kills, rapes, and tortures children and burns people alive to make recruitment videos, all decent people react in horror. But Obama’s response is what you might expect of a leftist — to proclaim absurdly that Christians are just as bad:

“Humanity has been grappling with these questions throughout human history. Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place. Remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. And our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”

It is absolutely intolerable to be ruled by people who reflexively denounce our society in order to validate our enemies.

Incidentally, the Crusaders were the bad guys only if you are a Muslim — or of course a liberal.
