Ben Carson is right[1], the Black Lives Matter movement is definitely focused on the wrong targets. However, they are racists, so what did he expect? They are being used as a disruptive weapon for a political agenda. All lives matter. The movement is meant to stir hate and further a possible race war. There are the rare instances where a cop does something bad and that officer should be prosecuted for that. But those are far and few between. Most of the causes for these conflicts are black thugs who commit crimes and then scream how they are persecuted by the big, bad, white cops. Except that many of the police officers they are decrying are also black and there’s the little fact that the thugs were committing a crime to begin with. No sympathy here whatsoever. The vast amount of crime committed against blacks is by other blacks. They should focus on that as their biggest issue and set their house in order.

From TheBlaze:
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson wrote in a column for USA Today[3] Monday that much of the anger from Black Lives Matter protesters is misplaced and won’t result in meaningful change.
“The ‘BlackLivesMatter’ movement is focused on the wrong targets, to the detriment of blacks who would like to see real change and to the benefit of its powerful white liberal funders using the attacks on Sanders for political purposes that mean nothing for the problems that face our community,” Carson wrote.
“The notion that some lives might matter less than others is meant to enrage,” the famed neurosurgeon continued. “That anger is distracting us from what matters most. We’re right to be angry, but we have to stay smart.”
“Of course, the protesters are right that racial policing issues exist and some rotten policemen took actions that killed innocent people. Those actions were inexcusable and they should be prosecuted to deter such acts in the future,” Carson added.
Carson wrote that problems violence and unemployment also plague inner-cities, leaving many people facing hopelessness.
“I grew up in neighborhoods most Americans were told to never drive through. I saw bullets, drugs and death in the same places I played tag and ball with my friends. Both of my older cousins died on the streets where I lived. I thought that was my destiny,” he wrote.
“But my mother didn’t,” he added. “She changed all of that. She saved my brother and me from being killed on those streets with nothing but a library card.”
Carson proposed five places Black Lives Matter protesters should be marching: 1.) local board of education 2.) entertainment industry 3.) city hall 4.) local hubs for drug dealers 5.) both political parties.
The comments from Carson echoed comments he made to TheBlaze earlier this month[4]. After an event in New York City, the presidential candidate had called for demonstrators to also tackle the issue of black-on-black crime.

No matter each of our personal circumstances, you decide your own fate. You make your life what it is, for better or worse, white or black. Carson, with the help of a strong mother, made a monumental success of himself. He didn’t blame others or roll over and wet himself in abject victimhood. Making the decision to lift himself out of poverty, he worked hard and won his battle and he survived. If we have a strong leader again who brings back manufacturing and jobs, many of our woes will right themselves. When you get rid of the Marxists and re-implement capitalistic freedom, everyone rises up and poverty and crime go down. As long as you excuse criminals and thugs because of their skin color, you won’t be able to bring prosperity back to cities and neighborhoods. That’s just how it works.
