In 2010, Sarah Palin did more to help women get elected in the United States than anyone ever has before or since. Now, she’s gearing up to do it again during the 2014 election cycle. Palin’s “Sarah PAC” is kicking off a major fund raising effort with a new video.
In the video, she’s quoted as saying, “Don’t let the big consultants, the big bad money men and the big bad media scare you off.”
Palin also took another subtle shot at the king of the Republican establishment money men, Karl Rove, in the video. Rove has pledged to go after Republican candidates he deems unelectable in 2014. Of course, what he really means by that is that he’s going to try to defeat candidates like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul before they knock off the sort of Country Club Republicans guys like Rove would prefer to see coming out on top in the primaries.
That’s who Palin was undoubtedly referring to when she says, “The next election is 20 months away. The last thing we need is Washington, D.C. vetting our candidates.”
