trespass[1]There are certain basic rules about driving that you don’t break, because the consequences can be rather harsh. One is parking where it’s prohibited. Property owners can have your car towed, which is a hassle to deal with and costs at least $150 to the towing company in order to get it back. Even if you’ve been getting away with it for years, the property owner could suddenly change their mind. Fed up with cars parking in her driveway, one woman finally got creative.[2]

The Daily Mail reports,

Revenge was sweet for Julie Geue, 48, who was so infuriated when a commuter parked on her four-car driveway, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Her driveway was due to be gravelled when the man parked in her drive, meaning works could not carried out, so she ordered builders to place the tonne of gravel behind the car, blocking it in for two days before it was moved.

Julie, from Crowborough, East Sussex, lives opposite Farningham Road train station in Dartford, Kent.
She explained that the driver, who returned to his car after work claimed he was meant to be parking at a friend’s house, but got confused.

She posted a note by the cement which said, “Happy digging, at least it’s not raining.” Just think, if the driver had been civil, he would have never gotten into this pickle.
