Another hoax! Black man arrested for racist pro-Trump graffiti in Philly

I cannot be the only one who is absolutely dead tired of reading these stories about some “Trump supporter” spraying racist graffiti on walls and “assaulting” people.

The only redeeming quality of these stories is that 99% of them turn out to be hoaxes.

On November 10th, Philly.com[2] posted this on their Twitter account:

It took nearly a month, but we’ve finally discovered the man who was behind the “racist & pro-Trump graffiti.” He was arrested on November 22nd, but for some reason, we’re just NOW hearing about this. Three guesses as to why.

William Tucker, 58, is being charged with 4 counts of criminal mischief after it was discovered he is the one who vandalized the vehicles and storefront.

I’m not going to speculate as to his political beliefs, because frankly, that doesn’t matter here. What matters is that this isn’t the white skinhead that liberals are trying to blame for this type of thing. We need to stop jumping the gun and immediately seeing the worse in people because of their political beliefs. People are doing whatever they can to divide us and we need to resist that. Instead of these events being used to make us hate each other, let’s reach out and say “hey, I’m not who the media made me out to be. I supported *insert candidate here* and I love you.”
