Anti-Gun Kim Kardashian Has Changed Her Mind After Being Robbed in Paris

It turns out that taking a stupid position on one of the only tools that you can effectively use to defend your life, family and property given an emergency situation is, well, stupid.

After she says she endured 5 hours of absolute terror at the hands of 5 robbers who bound and gagged her before making off with $10M in jewelry, Kardashian is changing her anti-firearms stance.

It was not long ago when Kim Kardashian West was issuing rallying cries to anti-gun advocates in our Congress, begging them to act to make it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to get their hands on firearms.

She also showed her support for the Democrat sit-in that took place on the Senate floor after the Orlando shooting at a gay nightclub by a lone wolf terrorist.

Now that she’s been through what is perhaps one of the most terrifying events that a person can experience, her thoughts on the matter appear to have changed. At least for herself, that is.

According to TMZ[6], Kim’s new security team includes former secret service members and everyone on it is armed to the teeth. She’s also going to be traveling in an armored car and must have at least two hired guards with her everywhere she goes. No exceptions.

They noted that the Kardashians also went to members of the Israeli army, ex-CIA agents, as well as the ex-secret service agents she hired to protect her.

Kim’s mom Kris is also said to have been part of the security meetings and is looking into getting armed security teams for Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie.

They are finally waking up to something that most of the rest of us already know: the real world is a scary place and you need to be prepared for anything it can throw at you. What happened to Kim isn’t rare in the least, but she is one of the lucky ones who managed to get out alive. It doesn’t seem so wise to make fun of those of us who carry guns now that you know why we do it, does it?
