Cops Are ASSASSINATING Blacks?! Time To Cut The Crap And Get The FACTS STRAIGHT!

Emotions don’t justify falsehoods. Let’s get some things straight when it comes to police shootings of blacks…

– Police have shot and killed nearly twice as many whites as blacks in 2015.

50% of the total police shooting victims have been white, while 26% were black…These stats where taken from a recent Washington Post study. That is a far cry from what the media, celebrities and race-baiters claim almost instantly that a cop shoots and kills any black man.

– The real truth is more whites and Hispanics die from police shootings than blacks.

Author Heather MacDonald, who recently shared on the statistics of police shootings, has said that 12% of white and Hispanic homicide deaths were attributed to police officers, while only four percent of black homicide deaths were the result of police officers.

– According to the Washington Post, data does show that unarmed black men are more likely to be killed by police shootings than an unarmed white men…but there is a major caveat –

“The “unarmed” label is literally accurate, but it frequently fails to convey highly-charged policing situations. In a number of cases, if the victim ended up being unarmed, it was certainly not for lack of trying. At least five black victims had reportedly tried to grab the officer’s gun, or had been beating the cop with his own equipment.”

One of the many reasons why comments like, “Why didn’t they just shoot the leg?” is utterly ridiculous.

Police shootings are NEVER cut and dry, because people are not cut and dry. There are a number of factors that play into all sorts of scenarios.

– Black and Hispanic cops, more so than white cops, are more likely to fire their weapons at blacks.

The DOJ and a Penn State study have found that black police officers were 3.3 times more likely to draw their weapons and fire when compared to other cops.

– Who’s more likely to to be killed, blacks or police?

According to FBI data found on their website, 40% of cop killers are black. Heather MacDonald shared that a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black suspect than a cop killing an unarmed black person.

You cannot dispute the facts with emotion and expect truth to be on your side. Wait for the facts to come out and keep your verdict in the court of public opinion to yourself until they do.

…Unless you just don’t care about the facts or truth. There is no hope for you, then.
